Pride Vibes is a 24/7 online radio service that shines a light on Irish life by celebrating the successes of the LGBTQIA+ community and start conversations around the issues that matter.
I was part of the Marketing & Design team, where I created the website. Currently I continue to manage the pridevibes site, including collating & reporting web analytics.

About Pridevibes
In my role with Urban Media, I had the incredible opportunity to work on pridevibes.ie, a dynamic and inclusive Irish radio stream dedicated to celebrating Pride Month.
Working as part of a wider marketing & design team, my objective was to design a visually captivating and user-friendly website that would provide an immersive experience for visitors while effectively promoting the radio stream and its inclusive message.

Design & Development
I began by crafting the website’s design to reflect our brand guidelines. My objective was to create a visually stunning and responsive interface. Typography choices were made to enhance readability and bring professionalism and clarity to a fun, vibrant brand.
I worked using WordPress, modelling our radio station off the Sounder theme. It was imperative the site was accessible across multiple devices and browsers. A number of features were integrated, such as a live streaming player for the radio stream, and a timetable and event scheduler.
Outcome
The culmination of our efforts was a visually stunning and engaging website that encapsulated the spirit and mission of Pride Vibes. The vibrant colour scheme, imagery, and user-friendly interface combined to create an immersive experience for visitors. The website showcased the radio stream’s schedule, featured live broadcasts, and allowed users to learn more about the team behind the stream.
As a web designer, being part of the Pride Vibes project was an incredibly fulfilling experience. The opportunity to contribute to a cause that celebrates love, acceptance, and equality was a constant source of inspiration. I am immensely proud of the final outcome, and I am confident that Pride Vibes and its website will continue to be a vibrant and inclusive space for future Pride Month celebrations.
